Dear Friend:

Thank you very much for your inquiry into the services of Love Basket. The information contained on this website details the history and mission of this international adoption ministry. It also provides a summary of our adoption services in each country where we are working.

Love Basket is actively seeking Christian couples, families, and single women of all ethnicities to provide loving and capable homes for the children we place for adoption. Love Basket is not affiliated with any specific religious denomination or doctrine. We work with people of Protestant, Catholic and non-denominational backgrounds. Please note that the Asian Indian Placement Program is also open to those of Asian Indian nationality and background without regard to religious beliefs.

The Adoption Assistance Fund was designed to enable families to adopt hard-to-place children, which include older children, sibling groups, and children with disabilities, etc. It was also designed to assist families who might otherwise find it difficult to adopt due to the costs involved. While preference is given to families adopting children with special needs, consideration is also given to families with a need for financial assistance who are adopting young, healthy children as well.

Love Basket is licensed and has offices in Missouri (Corporate office), Minnesota, and a new office opening in Kentucky, but our work is not confined to these states. We work with birth parents and adoptive parents from all across America, as well as with U.S. citizens (military personnel, missionaries, etc.) living overseas.

The joy of parenting is something words cannot express. Yet, the adoption process itself - with the patience and waiting that is required - can be trying. Many of us are adoptive parents ourselves, so we've been there! We are here to enable you to receive the child or children that God has for you and to offer our assistance and support along the way.
